Second online book review for Lovereading; πŸŒŽπŸ“–

A quick note before this post is read, this book is published on January 28th.

About the book as written by Courtney Summers and sent to me by Lovereading;

“The footsteps stop but the birds are still singing, singing about a girl who wakes up on a dirt road and doesn’t know what happened to her the night before…”

Romy Grey wears her lipstick like armour, ever since the night she was raped by Kellan Turner, the sheriff’s son.

Romy refuses to be a victim, but speaking up has cost her everything. No one wants to believe Kellan is not the golden boy they thought he was, and Romy has given up trying to make herself heard.

But when another girl goes missing after a party, Romy must decide whether the cost of her silence might be more than she can bear.

My Review;

It’s that time again guys! First of all, Happy New Year, welcome to 2016! I hope you had a brilliant christmas and a fab new year. Secondly again I would just like to say it is absolutely awesome of Lovereading to send me a copy of this book to review, I am incredibly thankful to them for sending me this book as it tested my reading levels like I haven’t done in a long time which is one reason why when I had the opportunity to review this, I took it!

Courtney Summers has written such a rollercoaster of a book, but also kind of dark in some ways too, that I did not know how I would feel about it when I first got it. I have now changed my mind on this though and Summers has floored me with this book. It took me on such a reading adventure, by the end of it I did not know what to say.. which for me, is a good thing, means I am impressed ;). Again though,Β I will not write my complete review on here as I will again leave a link to the page for the actual online review when I know it is up like I did last month! πŸ˜€, I just wanted you guys to know that this review I have written will be up sometime this month! So keep an eye out for my post on the review link again!!! :D.

My short review for Lovereading;

“Rollercoaster of a book that will take you on a journey of one girl who blames herself for something out of her control. A girl trying to regain her innocence before she loses herself. 10/10 book!”

I can not wait to blog again in this new year, so keep an eye out for some interesting posts that are to pop up in 2016! Again, Happy New Year and ps; thank you to any of you who read my last book review for Lovereading, if you haven’t though here is the link if you would like to check that out also πŸ™‚ ;Β

With love, Charlotte x
