20th birthday celebrations and 1st year Uni results.. πŸŽ‰πŸŽ

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEE! well, this was most certainly the case yesterday. Yesterday I celebrated my 20th birthday with my mum, sister, nan and friends! and it was absolutely amazingggg. I spent the morning with my family and I then spent the afternoon and evening with friends, meeting my best friend on her lunch break, then spending the day on the beach with my group of best friends down at Skegness, eating fish and chips and then we went out for drinks in the  evening, which involved the most amazing cocktails! They tasted so so good. I laughed till my tummy hurt and I danced till my feet killed me, but, it was all completely worth it and I got some really really nice presents off of my friends for my birthday and it was just genuinely amazing!

But, today I woke up and had to check MyAdmin for my Hull Uni results and I’m very pleased to say that I passed my first year to get into my second! I am extremely happy and it really has rounded my week so far right off. I’m especially proud of myself due to the fact that I’ve proven to people that I can do something I am extremely passionate about, something they probably thought I would fail at, because having failed my first year of A-Levels but then doing an Extended Diploma in Media Studies for an extra 2 years at college, to then going to do History at Degree level at Uni I think a lot of people actually doubted me in being able to just get passed my first year. Now, I don’t do my degree to just prove a point to people that I can do it, I do do it because I absolutely love History and have such a passion for it that I know this course is the right course for me, but it is always nice to prove to the people that doubted you that you can do it. And because of that, I am proud of myself.

With love, Charlotte x
